Inchransitive Verb Investigation #10: spɪt

I spit.

I eject saliva forcibly from my mouth.

I violently and forcefully force the watery liquid secreted into my mouth by glands, providing lubrication for chewing and swallowing and aiding digestion, from the opening and cavity in the lower part of my face, surrounded by the lips, through which food is taken in and vocal sounds are emitted.

I powerfully and vigorously drive the subtance that flows freely but is of constant volume resembling water, produced and discharged into the opening and cavity in the lower part of my face surrounded by the lips through which food is taken in and vocal sounds are emitted, by organs in my body which secrete chemical substances for use in my body, minimizing friction and allowing smooth movement while biting and working food with my teeth to make it easier to swallow and causing it to pass down my throat, and helping the process of digesting food, from the gap that allows passage to the empty space within the area located near the bottom of the front part of my head from the forehead to the chin, with the two fleshy parts which form the upper and lower edges of the opening of my mouth all round, through which any nuchritious substance that people or animals eat or drink in order to maintain life and growth is consumed and vibrations relating to the human voice that chravel through the air and can be heard when they reach a person’s or animal’s ear are produced and discharged.
